Your probably going to scrub the 33's on the back of the front wheel arch.

I have the model after yours but they are similar. Your car won't ride as nicely as a car with coils.

Coils for comfort, leaves for loads.

My advice would be to do a search in the hilux bible and a general search. There are many threads on this.

Try the 4 longest leaves in the rear plus the 10mm?? thick flat overload leaf each side. I assume you will have no passengers in the rear.

Leave the front as is and see how it feels.

For comfort air down in the front to about 17psi and rears 2psi less.

to counteract the leverage the bigger tyres have on your motor ie robbing all your power, you will need to change the diff ratios.

like changing gears on your push bike when the going gets tough.

Ive got teh same 86 turbo diesel 33s. 33s are fine if your happy to sit on 90kmh on the high ways. will do 110 if you have enough of a run up. Those speeds are by the speedo aswell so it might be going a bit faster.
