The supercharger definitely looks aftermarket like an eaton type or something. The cast carbie manifold is pretty trick and the aircleaner even has "supercharger" on it. It is either a complete kit for a 22R including the correct length snout, or the blower/carb/aircleaner/snout was a bought as a kit and someone modded it to fit the 22r inlet manifold and positioned it so the snout and pulley were in the right place.

hey that looks a bit of alright.
Yeah Celicas had the 22R for 1985.
I am pretty sure it was only 1985, maybe late 84 too.
But i have a 1985 2.4i as my daily driver.
might go have a browse of that supercharger on ebay.
i dont think it will fit under my bonnet though.

I agree with 383FJ45, for a blower, inlet manifold, carbie and mount, snout pulley and aircleaner $2000 is an excellent price.

Yellaterra sell blower kits with Eaton style blowers. A friend recently put one on an injected 5 litre holden.
COST FOR KIT $5K
