pros and cons... there are no cons! its the best thing you will every do to your truck.

best performace is had out of modern aftermarket systems set up by a good installer, but expect to pay 3-4k. which is alot on a car often worth only a little more than that.

you can pick up a complete ct 20 kit for around $5-700. it needs to include the manifold, cross over etc etc. you can make your own cross over but if you look around you can get a complete kit for the same coin.

you need to move some exhaist studs but it is all bolt on. you also need to put an oil return into your sump, although some people just put a t piece into an exsisting oil return.

and your away.

ideally get it dynoed after wards with an egt. or buy an egt $from 120 and wind the fuel up a bit your self making sure you moniter your exhaust temps.

i would get any second hand turbo looked at and seals replaced so that you know its not going to let you down and cost you en engine, diy from about $150 or 500 plus to get it done in a shop.

so basically if you look at a grand for diy or 3-4 for aftermarket non diy and a little more performance.

but it will be the best mod you ever do.
