Are they the same widths?
From what i can gather the only difference is the mounting and springs. Is this correct?

The other thing i ment to ask is if the petrol and diesel 60's are the same?

Measured the rear of my 80 last night for something else and it measured 1610mm wheel mounting face to WMF. 60 diesel and petrol diffs are the same too. I think the 80 diff is about 125mm wider than a 60 diff. The hub offset on a 80 hub is about 35mm more than a 60 hub . The hubs are interchangable and you would pick up 70mm more track. You would need to play with the brakes thou. Front hubs are not interchangable you would need to do a conversion with IFS Hilux front hubs to increase track width up front.

60 series are wider than 40 series by 70mm.
80s are wider than 60s by 130mm.
80s are wider than 40s by 200mm.
80UTE so if i was to buy rear hubs off a 80series i could have rear discs and a wider track?

The 80 brakes wont bolt up to a 40, 60 or 75 housings but the hubs can be fitted up with a custom rear disc brake setup. I have done it on a 75 ute with the 4 bolt backing plate mountings.

The 80 rear brake calipers will bolt up to a disc brake 75 housing though. They are the same units.
