Still having problems the beasty, Revs top out at 1000 and engine is starving for fuel, I changed the primer pump in case fuel was flowing back to the tank. Ive heard there a two filters on or near the injector pump, appreciate some advise. If this is not the problem, where do I look next

the filter is under one of the fittigns on the top of the injector pump towards the front. You need to undo the fitting then remove the spring and then get the filter out from the bottom. I use a piece of coat hanger wire and lift the filter out.

Cheers,

Do you mean under the fitting that has the black hose running to it, I assume thats the inlet for the fuel, just behind the spring loaded excalerator cable fitting.

Really lost on this

Follow the instructions on this thread

Where you can see the pilot hole with the fuel banjo bolt removed...well thats the hole you need to go fishing for the micro filter.

Mine did that once...I lost power on hill climbs, after checking a few things i hooked out that small filter on the IP and it was clogged. I cleaned it and put it back and problem solved.

You will probably look down that small hole and think...'there ain't no filter down there' but trust me...there should be and you will need to fish it out with a small piece of wire with a hook on the end.

If you find no filter then someone has removed it previously.
