Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hey guys its now time for me to get an exhaust...( saved up enough $$$) im thinking something like a 3 inch mandrell bent no mufflers. i just wanna be able to get a bit of waste noise from it and turbo whistle (obviously) lol so does anyone have any ideas of what to get to help achieve this.

3 inch TURBO back mandrel bent system. youll love it. beaudesert exhaust do the best imo, but any decent exhaust shop should be able to do a good job if you dont mind weld in pieces.

I gained 16hp out of my 3.0l patrol from a beaudesert exhaust to a Taipan XP exhaust ( on the gold coast) they got some special mufflers running.

I got Dyno sheets to prove. I was really happy with it!

feass, if you dont run a muffler the powerful muffler doesnt matter. without a muffler it isnt too loud at all. i have a v8 79 without a muffler in 3 inch and it isnt THAT loud... it is still quiet inside the cab too.

your saying that the muffler gave you 15hp... im saying that without a muffler at all you dont need to worry about that, so any mandrel bent will be the same.

Oh, no no. I mean, my patrol had no mufflers with a 2.75" BE system. I wacked this muffler on and it gave me 16hp extra.

Was it the same dyno for both readings? Gaining more power from adding a muffler seems unlikely. Is the Taipan 3" or 2 3/4"?

it was tuned fully with the stock BE system then retuned with the other muffler. went for 4 runs on the dyno. its a 3" muffler

chunks, ive been told by several different customers that the taipan just feels ALOT better than a previous exhaust system. same size, same everything just a different muffler...

I didnt notice that much of a difference to be honest. Im just saying 16hp was gained? Mufflers do have alot to with flow aswell.
