Hi all just bought a 12/95 wide trac and love it!!! i'm in need of some new shocks as they are stuffed, my question is what shock should i go for? from my quick searching online it seems its between the rancho and the tough dog shocks, will be adding a slight lift at a later date, any advise would be appreciated

Don't but Pedders - they are rubbish - Bilstein are the best IMHO. Everything else ranks in between
The rear damping in Feroza's is VERY IMPORTANT to ride and stability on rough surfaces - if I couldn't afford Bilsteins all around - id fit them to the rear and compromize a bit on the front.
Still they aren't cheap but you do get exactly what ypu pay for.
P.S. Ive had tough dogs and waasn't unhappy but the Bilsteins are in a different league.
Hope it helps.

Search in the Daihatsu forums before considering Ranchos.
I had Bilsteins on my F300 all round and they were excellent.
Konis would also be worth looking at but I'm not sure if they make anything to fit? I don't think they did back many years ago when I was looking.

Australian distributor is Quadrant... in Melbourne, even places like Pedders will end up buying them in from Quadrant.

Ballpark figure would be around $800 for the set. Not cheap, but if you're planning on keeping the Feroza for a while it's a good investment.

yeah that would be the way to go mate, I ran a full toughdog kit through mine and it cost me 1400 bucks on the cheap side, that was springs torsion bars and adj rears and gas fronts. They are a good shock, are you going to run lifted springs to?
