Guys regardless of weather your into
Touring,
Weekend warriors,
Safari,
Outback Challenge,
Winch Challenges,
Tuff Truck,
Rock Crawling,
& others
Even if you have no interest in some of the above, the more positive feedback the industry gets, the larger it can grow.
So get behind each & every one, if not financially then verbally when someone may ask you.. & if you have nothing positive or constructive to say, then say nothing!!
This is not aimed at anyone, just something I think needed to be said.
Cheers
Pete

Even if the service, product, advice or attitude was crap,
Guys please stop canning Telstra while your at it, and forgive the banks for ripping you blind too, don't forget all the bad fleebay sellers.
They are all after all in the same category as the 4WD industry, they sell products and services too the poor buggers

Sorry, I meant towards the Sport in General, nothing to do with business's or products.
Yes I should have put it in General Chit Chat, so if a moderator can move it, great.

Makes more sense, there's plenty of slacks turds in the retail industry how are not true enthusiasts but more opportunists but didn't realise there was any real bad blood amongst the sport or general public (except for the same irresponsible turds you get in all "scenes")

Well now we know you meant "sport" then that's a different story, it's a hobby and pastime for most of us, but the Alpine challenge or the OBC would be fantastic to see on commercial telly, it does need our support.

I suppose an example I meant would be that say you have no interest in Outback Challenge & one of your mates says he's thinking of going to watch it, a typical response might be its "crap don't waste your time" or "I went last year & it was boring"
This might stop that guy even going to the event & he may have a different view on it than you do.
At the moment I have no ambition to tour around the country in a 4wd. so yes for me personally I would find it kinda boring. But, if someone asked me, I would mention a few friends / customers that I know that do it & love it & share there stories & leave my negative thoughts out of it.
This way it unknowingly promotes the industry in a more positive way.
Just because something is not my cup of tea, doesn't mean the next person shares the same view.
Cheers

I agree totally Pete & the above example you used. I know some people who throw around the negative just because they don't like it which does bug me & I find hard to ignore.
