Problem with FJ75 Petrol

i am having problems with a FJ75 petrol 3f,4L when i start up every thing is OK but after 1-2 minutes it develops a knock which sounds like a bottom end or bearing, have replaced oil pump because some-one said it could be pressure valve, all caps and journels are looking good (no marks still white metal) has anyone had the same probs and how the hell do i fix it without buying a short block or has someone got a block for sale?
