Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Gday.
I just bought a new 91 Vitara soft top and it is missing the rear bar for the softtop to hook onto the tailgate.
would i be able to just buy a replacement or just use a piece of metal for it?

or could anyone please post a photo so i can get an idea of what it looks like?

Are you meaning the part that holds the bottom edge of the back window to the top of the back door. If so is is a plastic rod about 10mm diameter by 1.2m that slides into the sock along this edge. You could pick one up from any pllastics supplier like alternative plastics in Melbourne.
