Hey fellas just a quick one i am looking at getting some tyres for me GU and was wondering what peoples thoughts are. I was thinking of 33's have em as a 2nd set for 4wdin but now i may be leaning towards 35's my question is what would i need to do to the GU to fit 35's properly and to run them without too much drama and are they worth it or should i stick with 33's. I mainly just go in the mud and bush round victoria so guys out there in vic do ya reckon i need 35's or would 33's be fine? and also i been looking at the federal couragia's i like the look of em or i was thinking of silverstone extreme but found they might be crapola on more of the longer trips say to dargo etc where i be on the road for 5 or so hours Cheers

if your gunna be in the mud 35's are better cause most guys run them. if you run 33's you find you'll be getting caught on your diff a lot.

I have done the searches in the threads my actual question is the extra expense of running 35's actually worth it if my Patrol is more of a daily driver i am stuck with the decision of running 33's as it sits now or going to 35's but is it worth it for a weekend warrior / daily driver?

35"s will drain your power a lot. and will also change your L/kms. it really depends wat kind of driving your gunna be doing if it's just a weekend cruise 33"s would probly be a cheaper and more suited option. if your into a bit more extreme stuff, 35"s will definately be the way to go. i guess in the end it really depends where you wanna go and how fat your wallet is???

Last time i checked there wasn't a HUGE difference in 33/35 inch prices. If you are going to have two sets, you might as well go the bigger tyres.

The only issue you might have is guard clearance - to find the answer to that question, click HERE.
