hilux/surf fuel tank question.

are they different lengths front to rear?
want to fit a tank from a 92 rv6 4runner into my lux 94 model d/c need the in tank pump and baffles etc.
has to be shorter because the upper arms from the gq diff conversion are now welded to the crossmember where the rear tank bracket used to be.
