Wiring in the Engel

So, gonna wire in the engel in the bitch...

I've bought 3 Anderson plugs and a few meters of cable... I'm kinda planning on cutting off the Cigar tip that comes on the Engels 12v cable about 40cm long and wiring on an Anderson plug on the end of that so that if I need to use the fridge in another car that only has ciggy plugs I can patch it up to that...

then put an anderson plug on the 12v cable for the fridge to run off, and wire in a permanent anderson plug for the fridge to use solely...

Does anyone see any issues with that?

Depending on the current being drawn, always be careful with cig-lighter plugs. Make sure it has a GOOD contact in the socket, otherwise I've seen even good quallity ones overheat and melt   .

I tend to use ELV "T-Plugs", they easily handle high currents at 12 volts, and are mountable on a flat surface.
