hilux diff Q's

i am looking at doing a coil convertion in the rear of my 93 soild front aaxle hilux using a surf rear end and diff housing i am just wondering if my diff center will fit in to it so i can keep my gearing and locker

I imagine they would be, I have a 90's HiAce housing in my drag car and using the centre from a very early hilux in it. But that's based on what I did, so newer stuff might be different so I'll leave it up to someone with more knowledge

There was a change in thickness of crown wheel and what thickness depends upon what diff ctr you have. But I believe all the centres will fit any axle housing. So long as you take your complete diff ctr and leave it alone - it should fit any hilux axle housing.
I am in the process of doing a 5.7 conversion and I'm under pressure to take out my Prado coil rear end out of my Hilux and fit Cruiser or Patrol coil rear end. If I do then I will have a coil rear end with locker up for grabs. I am resisting the change right now. I feel if I stick with 35's it should cope, even if I do annual crown wheel and pinion replacements.

my 85 model hilux centre bolted straight into the 93 surf housing that i am using, yours should too

if the prado rear comes up for sale i will be pritty keen keep me in mind
