Worried about your front diff / gearbox?

I'm in the process of changing my gearbox oil over to Redline Shockproof Lightweight, hopefully it will improve the cold shift quality. A lot of people use it in race/ drag cars and rave about how good it is.

Supposedly it will help prevent failures in severe shock loading situations (ie when Paul's front diff let go), so if it works well in the gearbox I'll be putting it into my front diff too.

Here's some info on it:
http://www.redlineoil.com/whitePaper/11.pdf
www.redlineoil.com
www.redlineoil.com.au

It isn't cheap at $32 per litre, but the Feroza gearbox only takes 1.7l and the front diff 0.9l, so it doesn't work out all that expensive (especially if it works as well as all the reviews I've read.)

(links fixed- thanks Stumped  )

Well, it gets a big thumbs up from my quick test drive  The shifts are very smooth from first starting and the gearbox is noticeably quieter.

Money well spent. :D

Have a read of the .pdf link and it explains how it works and the equivalent oil weight ratings.
