hi i have a set of the classic lock rims on ford maverick. One wheel came loose for some reason and flogged all of the stud stud holes in the rim out. They have a machined steel insert piece that makes them more durable and it supposed to stop this happening as much.
i have been able to knock these inserts out and am now chasing where to buy some new ones. Any ideas?
have tried fourbys and a number of general tyre shops like beaurepaires, quickfit, tyrepower etc... no luck

So it's the steel insert in the lug hole?
When I spoke to you on the phone it sounded like you were talking about the bolt holes that hold the imitation lock ring on.
Call:
Chris Neale - Wheel Revolution - (07)3209-2833. THey are in Moss St Slacks Creek. He'll have them in stock.
Cheers,
Ryano
**edit** What sort of centre cap are you using? If it's the push through from the back, this might be the reason for the wheel coming loose. Can't use push through on the Mickey Wheels on Patrol/Maverick.

Hey Ryano, while we are on the subject can they be used on the Classic II's on an 80 series and is there one for the fronts in any config to allow for manual hubs.

Should only come in around $50 or so. If it's the screw on cap you shouldn't have a drama.

No drama using push through on the 80Series. You can get a push through open ended cap which will clear the manual hubs. If you get onto a Mickey T dealer in your area he can oorder them in from the supplier. Roughly $15/cap.
