hi guys, sorry if this has been covered a million times, i tried searching but am useless with search functions.
i have heard cruiser centres swap into hilux diffs.
my question is which high pinion diff centre will fit into my rear hilux diff.
i am doing a build on my sierra, i am using hilux diffs and have limited space in the rear so im trying to lower my pinion angle the best i can.
sorry if this a simple question with an obvious answer.
thanks for your help peoples.

You have the choice of Bundera, 80 series and 100 series.
But, and I may be wrong, if you put the HP diff in the rear wont it be running on the weak side of the tooth?

sorry to hijack but does it just bolt straight up.theres nothing you have to modify to make them fit.
also micka, what do you mean on the weak side of the tooth,i there a weak side to a tooth.might do this to my hilux for a bit of clearance and reduce driveline angles.
cheers..smiley..

Yep they will bolt in the front and back no mods. Wouldn't put in the rear though. Way too weak. Good in the front. 4.1:1 out of 80 series and 4.3:1 out of 105 series. 4.8:1 front bundy's.

but cant you just change the centre to put my diff gears in it.
i got 4.88's.
whats meant buy "weak",im sure an 80 series hs more power than a hilux to break the centre,i though they were basically the same centre just higher.dont know alot abut diff centres though.
cheers..smiley..

mate you cant, it is as simple as that.
The gears are reverse cut and are really weak in reverse when in the front and really weak all the time in the rear... In tyhe rear the gears try to 'ramp' them selves apart and you will break them eventually when under load.
Yes they will bolt up but you should not be putting one in the rear.
I have put one in the front of my lux and if were as simple as changing the gears everyone would be using them (including me)...
Sorry
Brad

Shame nobody produces a HP gearset for use in the rear.
