I am trying to decide which AT i want to go with, i have been offered some pretty good prices and for 31" AT's i could get
Pirelli Scorpion AT's or Goodyear Wrangler AT's. The Pirelli are only $5 more per tyre.
I had Wranglers on my old pajero and was very happy with the wear but don't know a lot about the Pirelli's.
Can anyone shed any light on this?

Last year or so there was a big test on ATs and the scorpians come up on top in nearly all surfaces, apparently very good for an all terrain.

Not sure about the Pirelli AT's but I have the Pirelli ATR's and am very very happy with them. Cant speak highly enough about them for the tyre that they are.

Out of them, I'd go BFG AT's.. at least they are a tiny bit agressive

My BFGs like everyone elses where bead leaking pieces of shit so if their still the same watch that, when that tyre test was done bothe Cooper ST and Scorpians where better even where you would think the bfg would win so I don't know....I can't say first hand how they compare but can say my 35 inch BFG AT made a great road tyre.

yeah the pirelli's because they are a much stronger tyre,
(10 ply) and speed rating is T (190km/h)
the wrangler at/r has a 5ply rating and speed rating is N (140km/h)
these are for 265/75/16 which are 31's?

Does anyone know if $55 per wheel for Sunraysia 15x7's is good?

Check the wheels for runout on the balancer before you buy them. There are some VERY wonky rims out there.
