33's on a d40 navara

Post by 83-mud-lux »

my dad has a d40 navara and looking at going from 31's to 33's.he's only a beach and minor 4wding but its too low for what he wants to do.

its still standard suspension under it and he is going to lift it but not to high as the missus and kids have to get into it.i say let the missus drive the street car and jack her up haha..

anyway just looking at what sort of lift he would need,he can get a 2'' lift for under $1500 through ironman..

is that high enough or 33's?

help would be much appreciated

thanks..smiley..

motor will handle ok but brakes are fucked. Even 265/75's kill the braking.
I have light truck ones but so are quite heavy I guess but you really notice it a lot. 285's would be horrible to stop.
