I know, I know. This topic has probably been discussed to many times to count however, here goes.
I am a recent convert to LR's (defender xtreme 04) and am rather new to coil spring setups. Been a hilux owner (4 vehicles) for 14 years. It seems to me it is difficult to raise more than 2" without major mods.
At present I'm am considering Safari Guard II and a 2" body lift to my rig. Has anyone had feedback in OZ as to reliability and suitability of this setup bearing in mind I do most of my running in Howqua, Jamo, King, Barkly, Moroka, Wellington River areas of the high country. Snow rocks n mud
.
Second choice is OME and 2" body lift (Only because I have used OME twice with hilux) and found it to be a reliable product.
Also has anyone had probs running arb lockers in the front of a defender, from what I have read from your feedback the driveline seems to be the weakest link??
All replies greatly appreciated for a newbie owner.
