will RD28T engine match to RB30 gearbox?

my brother wants to put an RD28T (turbo diesel 2.8) into a QQ petrol which has an RB30 in it. Wants to know if it will match up to the RB30 gearbox.

Yeah mate you many boxs are interchngable you may need to change the bell houseing.

100%. Direct fit nothing needs changing, if you search you'll find this covered only recently in more detail.
