Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hey all,

Just wondered if other people running 2.5" - 3" exhausts on their 300tdi's with either a straight through muffler or none at all hve an exhaust whistle from the turbo?

Mine does since changing to straight through muffler and no resisnator. Not a big issue except it is annoying when towing under load. I was thinking of fitting the resinator again to get rid of it. but wondered if I may have a turbo issue or it is normal.

Thats a common thing on most TD. Most cruiser, patrols with a decent boost level and straight thru seem to have it.
My old schwitzer turbo troll with straight thru 3in did not seem to have it though
