the glove box infront of the passenger side sort of broke

the metal bracket with the light and the locking lung brock off under the dash i see it was just glued with plastic at manufacture

how have you guy repaired this problem????

Mine has broken off before too. It was jammed full of stuff and I slammed it shut one too many times.

It is a pita to fix as you have to do it all by feel.
I poked my camera in there and took a photo to get a better idea at the time.

It isn't glue that holds it on. It is melted plastic. Open the cover under your steering wheel and look at the hinges to see what I mean.
The upside to this is that you can use what will be left intact to locate the bit you need to glue back on. That gets it in the exact spot which is good as it needs to be 100% exact.
Make sure you use a very good quality glue. Mine has been fixed for about two years and is still holding. Mine had glue on it already which showed that it had been fixed before in its lifetime.

i found the landrover newsleteer explaining this problem and how they fixed it,
basically 3 tec screws and glues


ah look the way i see it is this pos is near 15yr old now yep she old
5k seemed fair enough

iv got a land cruiser in the garage that i payed 3k thats stuffed thriought electrics shes a diesel,
car before this was a nissan GQ i paid 10k also had problems, so it dosent matter what pos i have i seem to just have bad luck in cars
