It will, but nothing worth writing home about. A turbo will give signifant power uprgrade.

A better manifold to the turbo would help, but blowed if I can find anyone to make one....

I'd look for a turbo set up rather than extractors. A turbo set up should cost $2-$2.5k, and give a great increase in power and driveability, extractors and zorst on their own will cost about half that, and only give a modest increase.
AXT Turbo in Dandenong Vic cast their own 4.2 zorst-turbo manifolds, which they claim flows much better than the std Nissan cast unit.
have seen the 2 side by side, theirs certainly loooks like it would flow better.
Or give Andy at Dieseltec in Lilydale Vic a call, see if he can come up with anything.
I still think on a bang for buck basis its not worth it.
Not really a comparison, but when i had a WRX i looked at a set of extractors which were supposted to allow zorst gas to flow to the turbo 100% better than standard cast manifold, for something like $2000 it added less than 10kw.
A better flowing turbo is a better investment.

Useful comparison. Thanks.
I don't think my old motor can really handle any more juice anyway...

A low boost setup probably wouldn't hurt it (5-7psi). Has it been serviced regularly?

It is running a turbo and a big air-air FMIC at 11psi. I was toying with idea of a better exhaust manifold, but really, it goes well, and I don't wanna break it.

I didn't realise it was already turbo'd. I don't think there's a hell of a lot to gain going to an extractor style manifold. Not for the average Joe anyway.

depends where you source your extractors from to see if its worth it. i got mine form the wreckers, for 90 bucks. that was worth it. but retail price wouldnt be.
