PM me with any of the bad things you have heard about Dale mate and i'll see if i can set you straight. I didn't have Dale cut my cab, but after hanging round his workshop and knowing him quite well by now i wish i had. Even if there ARE issues with work, he's the kind of guy who is prepared to fix them and work through them with the customer.

There's more to fabrication than equipment and skill, there's the craftsman's attitude and people skills too

Had my GQ extra cab done by dale, yeah he's great to deal with and very happy with the cab. Had a little trouble with a bubble under the paint and a crack in the bog but he was more than happy to get it fixed up for me!

I have seen a lot of guys do fab work over the years and as more and more clown buy mig welders off eBay and call themselves fabricators it is becoming easier and easier to find crap workmanship badged as skill andsome idiot trying to charge top dollar for it.

Dale is currently doing work for me and prior to letting him touch my truck I went out there and spoke to him in person, after a few hours it became very obvious that he was a straight up honest sort of guy who loved what he did and didn't put the all mighty dollar before a customer or his quality, not to mention he actually had a clue.

Based on talking to him and him showing me some of his work I got him to do the job for me and so far I have been very happy with his work and more so his attitude. He was more than happy to tack things up and allow me to inspect before weld out and not to dress any of his welds once done. One sign of a good tradie is that they are proud enough of their work and confident enough in their ability that they do not feel the need to grind stuff back and but cheap ass black paint on everything.

I would have no issues recommending Dale to carry out any sort of work on your vehicle and for those who are suggesting he is ruff, it is quite funny that they haven’t actually had any work done by him yet they feel the need to comment.

One thing I have learnt being in the fabrication industry is that those that can’t talk about it and hang $hit on those that can.

Give him a call, go and have a chat and make up your own mind, there is no substitute for looking a guy in the face and talking to him in person, especially if he is gunna cut your truck up …..
