RPM WITH 35`S ON A 100 SERIES
Moderators: toaddog, Elmo, DUDELUX
35's normally make for a fair fuel increase, and take the truck off its torque high spot.
Changing to 4.88's with 35's works best in the 100, and give the best economy, we find.
And straight bolt in 4.88's are now available to suit the 100 and 105 models.

Standard gearing towing a Jacko camper with 275/75/16 i was getting about 16.5l per 100 ks. With the 315/75/16 i am getting about 21lt per 100ks
(275/75/16 was up to Whitsundays and back to the Tweed Coast. 315/75/16 was to the Flinders Rangers and back)
