AMMS Brisbane Turbo'd my GQ and have had it back 3 times. Took heaps of short cuts.
Even used smaller bolts to save money.

PM Giantracing on this forum.. He runs a diesel shop. Seems to know his shizzle, and has some nice rigs.

Are you wanting a standard turbo kit bolted up? Or looking at something custom? What sort of budget?

took my gq patrol there to get pump rebuilt and high flowed. was told a price b4 i gave it to them they then phoned me a few days later after i gave it to them and the price had close to doubled. then after i got my car back with a pump that was not what i was spoken about in the first place they failed to connect a vac line to the turbo so it was running 18 psi and running like shit. (standard engine). took it back after finding the vac line not on (not happy). oh yeah when i went to pick it up the first time they handed me the wrong keys. i told them they were not my keys and one bloke in particular argued with me saying that they were. he then went to security footage and finally realised i was correct about MY keys. almost 1 hr later. i then had to wait for another 45min while they drove to mango hill to get my keys.
the owner contacted me a few months ago now and asked me why i wasnt happy and why i had put up a similar post to this one up previously. so i told him the same story i have just told you and he said well that matches what we have on our job sheet. he then said sorry we f***ed you around but to bad. i also know a few other people that have had dodgy work done there e.g. coolant lines touching radiator fan.
i have since had to replace the head on this car cause it cracked and replace screws on the pump because they have rusted and seazed. im not saying that the head is there fault but it makes me think.
