Thanks macca, Its going to be a present for my brother he only needs to change 2 rear tyres when he goes to the drags.

if your talking about the 12 volt impact wrenchs then yes I have one and it makes the job a fair bit quicker. not as quick as a proper air tool but quicker than hand.

I also use it for other jobs around the car such as undoing bolts when replacing brake discs etc.

i got the shentai (sp?) 12v impact wrench seems to do an ok job, its a wierd centrifigal clutch arrangement tho as stated earlier not to sure about longetivity but had it 2 years now and done quite a few tyre changes with it .. definately quicker and easier than the old fashioned wheel brace ...

forgot to add, that when/if the current one brakes I would get another one for the cost and convenience.
