G'day guys, I am in the process of putting together a 450hp 347 windsor for use in a 4x4 buggy and am planning on using one of the marks kits to bolt the motor to the g/box/transfer. My questions are for those of you who have done similar.

*Which model cruiser box would you recommend using strengthwise
*Will hilux diffs line up with cruiser transfer (already in car)
*I will also need a serious reduction in trans gears as i will be running big
tyres so are they available for these boxes ?

Iam only in the initial planning stages and all i have is the buggy with coil rear and leaf front hilux diffs and 347 motor dissasembled.

cheers mick

the strongest cruiser box they make and put behind the turbo diesels 6 and 4.5 petrols and the turbo v8 diesel is the H151 gear box

Total car weight will be well under 1000kgs and i will eventually go cromo axles ect..

This is what ive been looking at, but iam unsure if i should go manual or auto. Will an auto have sufficient reduction for larger tyres, especially on decents, they do reccomend the auto over the manual in high hp applications. Seem quite cheap at around the $1000 mark

If you run the serious reduction gears you mentioned earlier, your auto should be fine on decents in 1st low.
