can you buy fuel senders for the tanks on gq patrols

do these read the actual 90 litres of fuel in the tank mine says empty at 60..

does any one know the ome they run on mines a 92 carby,gq

im making my own tanks
and want to use the orignal gage on the dash but the tank is only 200mm deep, can i simply bend / adjust the flote and cut the pick up to length?

or buy a ome mached sender at the depth i need?

I got mine Genuine From Nissan for $80......i also just got one for a mate too, both GQ's.......keeping in mind i have a missus that works in the car industry so that may be cheaper than what most pay for it.
