Is $125 cheap for a GU bonnet scoop?

i just did a top mount cooler on my GU ute and have been lookin for a GU bonnet scoop. my local wreckers have a couple for sale and they want $125 for it complete.

Is that cheap? what price have some of you paid for 1?

any help would be great.

i bought one from nissan about 4 months ago and i paid about $120 for it .

No not a Captain Obvious statement but good old fashioned common sense. Well done.

Hackisack, a quick call to your local Nissan dealer would have given you the price of a new one to which you can compare withe price for a second hand one ...... and it's likely you would have had a quicker result :roll:

i already rang nissan and they wanted $170! personally i think $125 is a bit steep for a used scoop thats not even the right colour.

thought i'd ask what others haved payed for them and if anyone knows where to get them cheaper!!

so why not say that in your first post.

"hey guys I rang Nissan and they wanted $170 for a bonnet scoop. I thought that was a bit steep so I spoke to my local wrecker who can do a 2nd hand one for $125 but it still seems a bit pricey and its not even the right colour. What prices have you paid for them and any other sources that may be cheaper"

Get's better and more relevant answers.

Saw a couple on ebay about 6 months ago that went for $90 and $140

thanks for all the useful feedback. ended up going with the one from the wreckers. got him down to $110.
