where do you find huge jack stands?

fitting my sprung over diffs and new leaves on the weekend. but i dont have big enough stands. where can i get them from or how have others supported their 4x4's from the chasis over 1200 in the air?

i made some to the height i wanted out of 150mm I beam that i got from the scrap yard.
if i need more height i use some good hardwood packers like red gum sleeper off cuts

i think you should just buy a hoist if you can afford it otherwise you are just going to have to make some as it would be the cheapest way

Basically you make them or make suitable height extension bases for standard ones.

Repco have units that go to 1500 and are a 10 tonner per pair stand.

We use them here for working on trucks on the hoist or putting chassis on.

$400 odd a pr last time I got some more.

Are they screw adjustable or pin adjusted?
