xf springs in rear of hilux

hey guys.
soo ive got an old xf ute around the yard and its ready to go to the scap yard but before i do ive heard they can go in the back of my 88 hilux. ive read a little bit on here about it and this arvo i had a quick measure up comparing the 2 springs together. i worked out the spring would have to be re drilled to keep the axle in the same spot and also i will more than likely have to move shackle mounts this is where the problems start my chassi has been cut right behind my rear shackle mounts.
is it possible to move my front spring mounts forward?
how do the spring eyes compare? can i use hilux spring mounts or do i need different sized ones?
i dont know if this will work but my current idea of how to do it is cut the falcon front spring hangers out of the chassi and weld them on the hilux as far foward as the centre bolt has to be moved as this will put the diff in the right spot and will roughly give me the right shackle angle without havin to re drill the spring centre bolt??
please guys give me some feedback at the moment this is just an idea and at the moment it seems as it might work ide love to hear from some people who have a better idea than me and who have done it before and what they have done??
at the moment the lux has 200mm shackles and stand nearly straight up n down..
cheers sam
