hdj 79 rv diff ratio's???

just thinkin bout gettin some air lockers for the big girl and wondering wat the diff ratio's are for the front and rear diffs as a mate i know has a set for sale??? need to know befare tomorrow cheers josh

should be 4.1

Aren't the turbo utes 4.3???

Or is that something random like non turbo wagons that got different ratios?

1hz is 4.3 hdt is 4.1 same centres as 100 series

100 series are 4.3 which is what I put in my ute :armsup:

Ahh, I had it the wrong way around....

Non-turbo 4.3
Turbo 4.1

Cool, I knew that Toyota finally had more ratio options after 1998....

First REAL change of ratio since the mid 70's..... In the major cars in Aus.

Noticed a set of front and rear ARB lockers complete centres and all acessories for set up went for around $2200 which sounds like a good buy

How much is a full set (front & rear) lockers fitted normally worth if you were to buy them new???

Hi all...It doesnt matter because you use your gears anyway,Unless you want to change the ratio's.

hi paul today i got a price for front and rear air lockers with everything needed and the big compressor all fitted for $3200 off ARB caboolture

Thanks for that, seems like new would be they way to go at that price, by the time you got those second hand ones sent and then got them fitted and providing everthing else was ok, i doubt if you would have saved much at all
