If your looking at a 1uz I would call Scott from Venom Cobras in Brisbane well worth the drive.

Does anyone know roughly how much a "turn-key" conversion would cost for the 1uz?
I wouldn't mind putting one in, but i'm not that great on the tools. I would need to have it done for me.

Realistically, probably $10k. That's the normal going price.
I would offer to do it for less, but am about to have a knee reco in a week and a half, will be out of action for months.

Does that include the price of the motor itself, or is that after purchase of the motor?
I won't be looking at doing it for a while yet, but I don't mind the idea...

That's the normal workshop drive in drive out price. Drop off your car, drive out with the supplied and fiited 1UZ.
There's lots of costs involved, many not thought of.
Engine
Conversion kit
mounting
wiring
cooling system
exhaust
fuel systems
labour
List goes on and on

talk to steven kildy (killalux on outers) he owns killa kustom kables he does a really nice job. he mainly does ls1s but will do any i can give you his number if you need it to

yeah she has a whole sc400 with a 1uz in it.

few months sounds good to be too lol i have already got the 1UZ motor just need someone to install it for me.
