Hey is there any one that has this combo, i'm buying new tyres either 33 or 35's i'm not concerned about susp ect, as that can be easily sorted with a few spacers and a grinder, I'm concerned about the power loss of big tyres. i have 4.56 ratio diffs any out there got similar, Let us know how you go with drivability.

If you go 4.88 ratios in your diffs you should be fine, A mate has a 2.8T and runs 35s with 4.88s

yeah I was gunna say the same thing. Had a mate with one, tweaked up the boost and it went well with 35 simexs, he was running 4.8s aswell.

ive got a mate that runs 35s on his lux, 2inBL, 2insus lift. not sure what gearing hes got, but i know he hasnt changed ratios, so whatever was stock. its a 95 with 2.8lt non turbo diesel. he says it runs good on road, and i know that it goes good off road

i run 35's with 4.88's but i only have a 2l, 4.5s will drive the 35s, but it will slow it down but not to the point where it is anymore painful than a small diesel, if it is change the gearing, or use the 35s for off road only like u should :P.

running 35s on 4.56, is like running 33's on 4.3 as far as % difference from stock.

they will be fine without changing anything.

if you want stock gearing then 31's on 4.3 (stock) or 33's on 4.56 or 35's on 4.88's.

I can barely tell the difference when i change between 31's and 33's.

you will tell the difference if you jump from 31's to 35's as yours is currently geared lower than stock and would fell more powerful than most luxs.

Hey i'm running 35's with 4.5 diffs and i cant see why you'd bother going to 4.88 so little difference.

The only drama i had is offroad in low range had to rev it alot more for the serious stuff but crawlers helped that problem.

Onroad i dont really have any problems just get a higher top end speed ie 2500rpm @ 100kph instead of 3000 @ 100kph assumably, so i can sit on 120kph easily.
