this looks interesting. elec locker that has an LSD function while switched off.
on second look, maybe not. the locker function is gained by compressing the clutch pack. it's not a machanical locker

it is in a sence, if it works it should work well, uses an electro magnet to lock the lsd pack, could be a good find
as there is no air lines to split
i like

so long as it becomes so tight that there is no chance of the clutch slipping.
retaining the LSD would be plus, mine thing is hard enough to drive in the rain with an LSD, i'd hate to have to do it with out one.

definatly true, how ever the way that diagram shows it, the 2 metal plates at each end should lock the lsd pack with the large electromagnetic coil, this i think is still a ripper idea, not too good for the front diff one would think though, still, fantastic
. just have to see if it works

being magnetic would it pick up the fines in the diff and cause more wear?

Would this only suit the front, or would they fit in the rear, cause if the LSD function was good they might be a great rear centre

there may be an option on 31 and 33 spline as later pathy and navara had 33 spline rears.
I only had a quick look but would be interested to find out.
