sorry to be a pain but did a search and didnt find enough info

am currently doing a efi conversion on my tb42 with the addition of a turbo
was wondering what i should do for the pump??
should i be running a surge tank? or could i just run a high pressure pump straight from tank?
not sure if they came with in built swirl pots in early models etc

any help appreciated

I ran out of fuel when turboing mine and simply replaced the fuel pump in the tank with a Walbro 550hp one. Easy to fit. You dont need a surge tank.
Cheers mate.

Is it a difficult conversion for eg is the wiring loom simple matter of finding a donor, and just hooking up to the carby model?

any pictures of the conversion as you go?

I would say that is the smart way, it's OK to do a plug in ECU when the vehicle is standard but when you start moving old looms from one vehicle to another you can get issues with insulation shedding and brittle wire at connections, best to use the new loom supplied with the ECU and do a nice joint free loom with new connectors wherever possible.
