Im going to order some off road tyres for my bundy very shortly and through my supplier I can get silverstone 35's for only $150 more than the 33's I was originally looking at.

Has anyone seen 35's on a bundera with a 2" spring lift and 2" body lift? (or less?)

I already have a rancho spring lift and im going to do a 2" body lift as well...will they fit?

Also what options do I have for CV's and axels? Does 4 Runner longfield stuff fit in the bundera?

Cheers

Matt

Hi Matt,

I had a Bundy on 35's with 2" spring and 2" body lift. They will fit but i chopped about 2" out of the guards all round and did an average job on the inner guard between the tryes and engine bay(just cut them a bit and bent them in).

I had the 35's on negative 23mm offset King's rims and also ran 2" Wheel spacers from Snake Racing and had no Tyre rubbing anywhere on full flex.

The Spacers do affect your steering and if you don't have power steering to help, it can "pull" or "Jerk" the steering when you climb an obstacle 1 wheel at a time(ie: not at 90 degrees front on) just something to get used to.

In terms of CV's, I ran a front Lockrite auto locker and didn't manage to break a CV in 2 years with standard gear. I think it comes down to how you drive or maybe I just drive soft!

Hope the info helps.

Cheers

I hope so hahaha

im thinking of injecting and turbocharging the 22R in the near future...or removing it all together to replace it with a 3RZ + Turbo

Yeah, actually forgot to mention that i had a V6 commo conversion as well. I've heard that the 22r does alright tho!
