Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hey guys ive been offered a 96 Bravo for a thousand bucks, Its a dual cab, Petrol alloy tray But the engine has been cooked, but apparantly still runs.... Its done 200 000 ks. are these a very reliable vehicle? Are parts easy to come by? Im fairly mechanical minded so can do most of the work myself. Im not looking at doing any serious off roading just the occasional camping. It will be more of a 2nd car.
