FJ40 Power Steer Again

Hi Guys, have read all the info via search and have a question. I currently have a 75 FJ40 and have put the steering column, shaft and power steer box that bolts to the original manual steering box location out of a BJ40 in it to gain its power steer. The question I have is that I want to now put in a 60 series steer box in instead and loose all the associated old school steering arms that come with the original fj40 steer arrangement.

Do I need to put in a 55 series steering colum and shaft or will the shorter BJ40 one suite? I just want to go to the wreckers and get everything in one go, and not run into dramas.

Cheers

the bj40 one will not suit. you need one with an intermediate shaft/splined end, not a rag joint.
