hands and mums dont count!!!
So true. I had a 2.4L petrol in my bundy and it was so gutless on road. But offroad it had F & R ARB Lockers and also had reduction gears in it too (cant remember the ratio but it was great!). The reduction gears are a fantastic modification and combined with the F & R lockers, it could go further than some patrols/cruisers.money_killer wrote:my mate had f and r air lockers in a 2.8td bundy and the motor was too gutless to push it any where....bj on roids wrote:lockers are the FIRST thing I would do mate. lifting wheels is part of owning a shorty.REECE_O wrote:yeah but the 2.8 does me the only thing is hill climes it loves lifting wheels and thats is scary
as previously mentioned it will depend on your budget.
as for flex maybe look at moving shock location and/or link mounts long arms??
and the front maybe see if dobbin engineering can make an X link to suit the bundy diff.

big tyres are ok, my 2.4td pushed my 36's around for a good couple of years, now its got a v8 its spot on
as for flex, its a bundy they dont flex very well, but when they do flex its well balanced front and rear, they do like to waggle wheels in the air but aslong as theres a couple of wheels touching the ground its all good, if your super worried or are getting into some scary places maybe the next thing you should buy is a roll cage
cheers hugh
