Turboing a TB42

Post by MAVINMAD »

Hey all hows it going.....i know there is a few topics on turbod tb42's but none of them really fit myrequirements....

Im looking to turbo my tb and need some suggestions on what i need to get the job done.....i have a pretty damn confident mechenic who would be more then willing to do the job but i thought i would do a bit of research before we got stuck into it....

I have a couple of mates with Garrett M24's varying from good to exelent condition.... Would this be suitable??

Do i need to get any custom made manifolds ect??

Intercooler???

Any help would be muchly appricated!!!

Cheers

You could get pages and pages of info by asking such a broad question on here or really flamed depending on peoples mood.

As RN said do some research on the easy stuff like manifolds, intercoolers, turbo size etc and post the curly questions on here for
some helpfull feedback.

If your hoping to get ALL your info off here by a question like that you will get flamed.

Do some searching then post up again so we can help.
