Visually identifying a GU front diff

Looking at a set of Y6* diffs, maybe GQ or GU, nobody knows what they are.
Does anyone know if there is a sure fire way to see a pair of complete diff housings and identify just from looking at the housings whether or not they are GU or GQ?
I know some have different locking hubs, but others don't.
Is there any definitive way of checking just by looking at them, front and or rear?

Also GU steering boxes, is there anything visually different between them and GQ steering boxes. Casting marks, fittings, anything?

GU=Y61, the knuckles look very different to a GQ. GU steer box has a dropped pitman arm and KOYO104 written on the box.

different knuckle design, and dropped pitman arm.
Thank you.
Maybe we should get pics of GQ and GU knuckles and the pitman arms together so people can identify the differences.
(I was going to start but its harder than you think getting those images off google)

the later models gq came out with the same steerin box as a gu i think with the only difference bein the pitman arm, the gu's havin a dog leg and the gq have the straighter gq one. i'm pretty sure but i've been rong before.

early gq shit steer box is unmarked. Later gq looks the same as early box but has koyo 082 on it. Koyo 082 has bigger internals then early box but smaller than koyo 104.
