Tyre fitters

Anyone on here a tyre fitter who likes cash jobs?
I need 12 rims n tyres removed, swapped, refitted and balanced in melb.

it wil cost you $60 to get the local tyre man to do it...

$5 a tyre that sounds to cheap I'd say somewhere between $10 to $20 a tyre at least for most places some maybe up to $25

You could buy tyre plyers cheaper.
But using just tyre plyers to change car/4x4 tyres is a pain in the arse

not once you've done plenty... and $100 in ya pocket for a hours work, you wouldnt complain!

I have, used to be a tyre fitter. Truck tyres are easy as with levers but the smaller rims can be a pain in the arse.

Seen Ryano strip a chrome 15x12" rim out of a 44" Bogger in under 3min with tyre pliers a few weekends ago. Good to watch :shock:

i agree, i have never paid more than 5 bucks to get a tyre swapped on rims b4

15 bucks for a strip and fit is the starting point up here.
i wouldnt do it for 5, i dont know anyone that would...must be very desperate for some cash flow

Yeh name this $5 shop, I'll get all my tyres fitted there instead of using my own tyre machine.

Well I no longer need it done anyway, i must have been shitfaced when i measured the rims, i just found markings on it saying theyre 8" wide.
