I have a GQ Patrol that when you park it, and come back later to start it no lights on the dash come on. and it wont start or wind over. nothing off the ignition switch will work radio ect, then you can come back in 10 minutes later and it will get lights on the dash and starts straight up. I have checked all the usual stuff and eveything is fine.
I have heard of other people having this problem and they have paid auto electricians to look at their cars with no luck, one of my mates even sold his patrol cause he got sick of looking for this problem.
mine is having this problem and is turning off and on at least 4 times a week, any help would be great

there is 2 fuesable links that plug into the positive battery terminal. unplug both oof these, slean all the terminals, and replace the fuseable links with new ones.

Get your self a good test light , have the covers on the ignition switch removed check for power while it is not playing up and be ready to go when it does play up. carry out power checks on all the major power supplies and look for where you had power before but not now.
flow it back to the fault, it will be something simple like a poor contact at the ignition switch plug or fuseable link or a earth strap to the body , poor contact across the battery terminal or the likes,
Any auto electrician worth there money could find this fault in 10 minutes flat with it playing up.
