G'day all,
thinking about fitting nissan diff's to my project truck, what is the lowest nissan ratio without buying aftermarket??
how do the CV's handle bigger tyres (looking at running 37's or 38's)

Next one down is the 4.3s out of the uterus.

There's a company in Iceland selling 5.41's for their arctic trucks. I can't remember the right link but Google should find it.

nissan actually have a listing on the 5.14 gears, but they aren't brought out here. they are a genuine nissan part.

The 5.14's should be out of the 4-Cyl. MQ/MK built in Spain until 1998.

Are they really released in OZ with 4.3s (utes that is)? Because i have yet to actually see one come with anything but 4.1s. I know the owners manual lists cab-chas as coming with 4.3 but haven't seen one yet!
(I own one as well, standard with 4.1s)

we have one at work with 4.3's. it is a very late model GQ, i think it is actually a 99.. one of the last ones anyway..
would go better with 4.1's as it has a turbo on it..
