I have recently bought a hilux with ifs, having just replaced the crap tyres that are the standard bridgestone h/t with a/t the next thing is to get some height into it as it seems to bottom out a lot in the front and there is not much wheel travel as well when offroading. Any good shops in bris that I could talk to about trying to give it some height. thanks

Places like tjm and arb might be able to help you out, as far as I know the best way to get height out of an ifs is to go to a sas!

heavy duty torsion bars will give you about 30-40mm. Definately help if you have a steel bar up front. Any other kits are gonna cost you big $$$$

ther'll never be much wheel travel - it's ifs.

Dont bother with heavier torsion bars they will just make the front too stiff and reduce your travel even more.
You can wind the adjuster bolts on the standard bars for a little lift ie. 30-40mm.
But just remember that whatever way you lift it you will end up closer to the extension bumpstops and you might want to fit low profile ones.
Torsion bar crank and bumpstop info is here.
