Hey guys
We just bought a F75 1990 Rocky last week and there is a problem with the soleniods that change the vacuum to the transfer case to change it from 2WD to 4WD. Aparently they are about $300 a pair from a wreakers in brisbane. But then they fail often i have been told
What has enyone else done to fix this problem.
Thanks Daniel

I had a similar problem and simply pulled these solenoids apart and cleaned all the garbage out of them - they have never played up since and that was a couple of years ago.

I tried doing a search of the forum and couldn't find any previous posts - I know this has been discussed before so it's there somewhere, I'm just too dumb to find it.

Stu

PS - just so we all know - where are you located?

Thanks big-stu. I was going to pull the solinoids off and see what i could do but they have been removed and thrown away.
If any one else could help that would be great
Thanks Daniel
