When I bought my (now destroyed) 86 V8 4Runner (Independant front end, 253), I paid $8100 for it. That was a year and a half ago.

To me, $7000 does sound reasonable - but only because I have no idea of other prices out there.

mate sounde very cheap for a 350.... check gearbox type, diff types esp. rear, most v8 lux have a land cruiser rear diff...
i paid 7800 for 88 mod with 253... 2 months go.
also engine is stroked so really look at g/box... is it standard if so must be knackerd b/c lots power to go through a 2.4 L box , also engine may not have lots leftr in bore size....

cheers

just found out some more info, hilux 5 speed box with a 4runner v6 cluster gear, it's a 308 stroked to 355 (sorry about the confusion of the 350), independant front and rear lsd, 2 barrell carbie for fuel economy.
Question for big38l: do you know anything else about the 4runner anything is much appreciated

price seems to be about right ,check for rust around the front windscreen, canapy seals, rear mud guards and in each corner of the fire wall if there is rust in the fire wall more than likely it would be through to the inside of the cab and in the wheel arch.
